Ms. Newton completed her BS Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing in Psychology, Humanities, and Social Science from the University of Houston and became armed to help the masses with this niche in admission to college and financial aid procurement within the educational industry. This in turn, The College Resource Center emerged as the premier comprehensive educationally consulting service encompassing career assessment, academic planning, college selection, mentoring, and assistance in the application and admissions areas for both undergraduate and graduate degree procurement. Her success in the field constitutes Ms. Newton as an expert in college admissions and financial aid procurement. The analysis and research in finding what makes a student successful with the transition from high school to college has made her one of the most sought after independent educational consultants as she is only able to assist a certain amount of students each year. Her 20 years of experience in this field has awarded her several recognition of service by many educational agencies. Ms. Newton is a member of the Texas Association of College Admissions Counselors and an avid researcher of business economics. Her liberal arts background helps her to plan more strategically and analytically for student and future career and employment opportunities.
