Mark Benigni owns the Tutor Doctor office which serves the Northern Utah communities from Fruit Heights to Brigham City including the Huntsville and Morgan areas. Mark Benigni has lived and worked in Northern Utah for over 30 years. Mark’s experiences includes managing teams that designed, developed and produced rocket motors, used to launch satellites from the Space Shuttle, and airbag restraints for automobiles. Mark also lead teams that made a significant contribution to fabricate specialized equipment used to package nuclear waste for long-term storage. During the course of these projects Mark Benigni worked with people having a broad range of education backgrounds, from PhD’s to high school graduates. The significance of these experiences is seeing how everyone, regardless of education, contributed to the project success. To do this the team members had to have confidence in their skill and knowledge. They had to have confidence to proactively communicate. They had to be willing to learn how to apply existing knowledge to develop something new. And they had to have the initiative to continually learn to improve their skills in their trade. The mission of Mark Benigni and Tutor Doctor is to help learners of all ages improve their confidence, study skills and grades (if they are still in school). For students at home we also reduce stress on their families. We do this with our one-on-one, in-home tutoring service using the proven Tutor Doctor building block learning process and the actual course work the student wants to improve in. During the process we get input from the student, the school, and home. We qualify and train our tutors and work to match their personalities with those of the student. And on top of that, we make house calls! Mark Benigni believes the students of today will play significant roles in improving the community and providing solutions to global issues. Learning to learn is the beginning of the process. “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” Mahatma Gandhi
