Kelly Anderson is the general manager of Ironwood Custom Builders, Inc., which is based in Salt Lake City and also serves the Salt Lake Valley in Utah. At 14 years old, Anderson began working as a finish carpenter building cabinets and furniture. Earning a degree in building construction and a builder’s license after completing school, he has done everything from painting and tile setting to serving as a roofer. In 2009, Anderson teamed up with his business partner Steve Willie to launch Ironwood Custom Builders, Inc. Together, the partners have a combined 50 years of experience in the business. Their desire to meet client needs is what makes the company unique, says Anderson. “We limit the number of projects we take on each year,” he adds, “so, we can give one-on-one attention to clients.”
