Is Humane Wildlife Removal Safe For My Family?

Lynn Williams of Humane Wildlife Conflict Resolution fondly recalls visiting her grandma in Florida as a child. While driving around town her grandma would tell her to pick up an injured bird on the street so that it could be taken home with them. Once back at her grandma’s house, she would rehabilitate the bird and then let it go again. This was so routine, Williams says, that there was one particular sparrow who would visit the home frequently. Williams says that after seeing this, she knew that in adulthood she wanted to continue helping animals. While living in Georgia, Williams and her son volunteered every weekend at a wildlife sanctuary which rehabilitated animals. And now the two reside in the D.C. area and run Humane Wildlife Conflict Resolution, which is dedicated to safely evicting animals, such as raccoons and squirrels, from homes without costing the animals their lives.
