Calvin C. Craig is owner, lead designer, and contractor of Calvin C. Craig Landscaping, which is based in Walnut Creek and has served the East Bay Area since 1988. Overseeing primarily mid- to high-range custom residential landscaping, Craig has his team handle all garden and landscaping designs in house, offers maintenance to clients, and hires only expert gardeners. Born in Berkeley, Calif., Craig was educated at Cal Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo in what is now called environmental horticulture. Before this, he attended College of the Redwoods in Eureka and Columbia Community College near Sonora, Calif. Craig is an officer and member of the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA), California Horticultural Society, and California Native Plant Society. Also, he earned sustainable landscape certification from Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, Calif.
