Andrew Dermack joined the Tutor Doctor family as an owner in April 2011 serving the areas of South Charlotte, Matthews, and the Union County communities of Weddington and Indian Trail, North Carolina. Tutor Doctor is a way for Andrew to improve the lives of students and their parents through education on a local level in his home community of Southeast Charlotte. Tutor Doctor is a multi-national organization providing a unique in-home, private, one-to-one tutoring service with offices all across the globe. Andrew is an accomplished Business Development and Marketing Executive with over 20 years of experience driving new business initiatives. He has held key positions in the financial services and publishing industry. He has an outstanding record of developing mutually beneficial strategic relationships and building successful alliances. Andrew holds both a Masters of Business Administration from New York University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is actively involved with his local alumni club. In addition, he is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and an AARP Foundation tax-aide volunteer preparing tax returns for seniors. Previously, he was Vice President of his homeowners' association and served on the board of trustees for Temple Israel in Charlotte.
