Denise Litzelman is a co-owner of Merry Maids in Charlotte, North Carolina. Denise and her husband Joe purchased their Merry Maids franchise in 1995 after relocating from Pennsylvania where Denise was an elementary school substitute teacher. Merry Maids received the Dallen Peterson Award of Distinction, which recognizes the top 20 businesses in the US and Canada in 200, 2004, 2006, 2009 and 2010. The company also received the Dallan Peterson Award of Excellence, which recognizes the top five businesses in the US and Canada, in 2004 and 2009.
