Hadi Elhage, along with his wife Sophie Elhage, is the owner of Skewers Mediterranean Café & Grill in Houston. In February 2010, the Elhage family purchased the business and had a vision to make the restaurant a nice hangout that offers delicious food and drink. While the restaurant used to only offer counter service, it now offers counter service at lunch, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and turns into a full-service, sit-down restaurant for dinner. In addition, since the Elhage family took over, beer and wine is now served and there is hookah smoking on the outdoor patio, as well. Live entertainment, including belly dancing, is a bonus for patrons on the weekend. “We have a great menu with dishes we’re known for," says Elhage. "The menu offers Lebanese cuisine with a Skewers twist.”
