Jason Skillingberg is a frachise owner with Merry Maids, the nation's #1 home cleaning service. Merry Maids is a residential service that does house cleaning on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and one-time special occasion basis. Merry Maids is a nationwide company that is made up of individually owned franchises, and company owned branches. There are over 800 offices in the United States. J.E.J.K. Inc. is Skillingberg's family-held corporation, which does business under the name Merry Maids of Boulder and Larimer Counties. J.E.J.K. owns 3 franchises, located in Boulder, Ft. Collins, and Longmont. The corporation name is based on the first initials of family members: Jason, Eileen, Jennifer, and Kelly. Jennifer manages the Ft. Collins office, Kelly manages the Boulder/Longmont office, while Jason works within both offices and Eileen addresses corporate issues from a home office. On August 25, 1985, Jason, Eileen, and Marie cleaned their very first home. The clientele slowly began to grow and on September 28, 1988, Jason and Eileen purchased a 2nd franchise in Longmont. For the next 11 years J.E.J.K. did very well, and as Jennifer and Kelly got more involved, the family decided to purchase another franchise, in hopes of expanding the company. On November 15, 1999, they bought the Ft. Collins franchise. In over 26 years of service, the company has grown to become one of the best companies around. J.E.J.K. has been nominated four times for the Dallen Peterson Awards of Excellence (A Merry Maids national award), in 2001 and 2010 the company was recognized as one of the five Best Merry Maids operations in the USA.
