Dr. Rachel McConnell graduated from Southern University in Shreveport with an A.S. degree in Physics and Southern University in Baton Rouge with a B.S. degree in Chemistry. She launched her medical career at Louisiana State University Medical School, where she received her M.D. in 1986. After completing postgraduate training at Tulane University Medical Center and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Southern California School of Medicine, she was appointed assistant professor and chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Now in private practice at Nevada Fertility C.A.R.E.S. in Las Vegas, where her clinical interests are PCOS, oocyte donation, and stress in IVF patients.
