The Benefits of Owning A Boogie Heads Business

Chris Hampton | February 8, 2010

Chris Hampton is the owner of Boogie Heads, an event entertainment company that sells interactive systems to entrepreneurs and party planners. He is a resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he has been running entertainment-based companies for years. Here, he explains the main benefits of buying a Boogie Heads rig.

Buying a Boogie Heads rig and starting a company of your own is not only a great investment—it’s a lot of fun, too. I realize this is going to sound corny to most people, but it’s so much fun to make people laugh. I love it, and I feel lucky that I get to do it every day in my business. In fact, I feel sorry for people who are in a line of business or industry where people are stressed or unhappy all the time.

As the owner of an event entertainment company, I often get to see people at their happiest—celebrating big events like birthdays, family reunions, and other major milestones. What would be a better business to be in than that?

It’s easy to tell when a person hasn’t had a chance to laugh in a month. When they get to a party where we have the Boogie Heads system set up, they finally have an opportunity to have fun with their friends and family, let loose, and let out a laugh. I love watching people enjoy themselves.

Along with the sheer joy of bringing happiness to people, operating your own Boogie Heads business has a lot of other benefits and rewards. The job flexibility that comes with owning your own business and scheduling your own parties goes a long way, of course. Because Boogie Heads rig owners can schedule their own events—or not schedule them, if they want to take a few days or weeks off—for whenever they choose, there is a great amount of flexibility in this type of business. How much you do or don’t work depends on you.

Another benefit that I have found to running Boogie Heads and going to parties all over is that you get the chance to meet a lot of fun, new, and interesting people. When you show up to a party with the Boogie Heads system, you are meeting people when they are at their happiest. And by the end of the night, you are seeing people having a great time.

Once you buy a rig of your own, the business is yours. You can call your company Boogie Heads or whatever else you want. You could name your company after yourself, like “Bob’s Boogie Heads Company” or “Bob’s Boogie Heads Events.” The name Boogie Heads is a brand name that comes along with your company, but you don’t have to use it if you don’t want to. If you are an entrepreneur who has a party business that offers a number of different services, for instance, you can keep your company’s name and just add Boogie Heads to the list of services you offer.

When you buy a Boogie Heads rig, it includes everything you need to start and run a Boogie Heads company of your own. The television screens, the videos, and all the equipment you could possibly need are included in the rig. An instructional video is included as well, and people can generally figure out how to use the system within 30 minutes. It’s pretty simple.

So for about $15,500, you can become an entrepreneur with limitless potential. I would say that is the real benefit to owning your own Boogie Heads business.
