Eric O'Reilly is a Long Island resident and owner of Island Catastrophe Environmental Restoration, a flood restoration and mold removal company serving all of Long Island and the greater metro area. He started in the disaster recovery industry over 20 years ago, and has worked in asbestos and lead removal, the abatement of oil spills and clean-ups, water damage recovery, and chemical and marine spills. His work has taken him all over the country. In addition to responding to Hurricane Katrina in 2005, O'Reilly has worked on mold remediation projects in Hawaii, anthrax clean-ups, and restoration projects in Florida after the hurricanes there in 2006. He enjoys the challenging aspects of his job and providing comfort and peace of mind to homeowners after the trauma of a flood or disaster.
