Blair T. Jones originally started his legal career in civil litigation, but after nearly two years, he expanded his career to criminal law, where he began working with an Austin, Texas based criminal defense firm. In an effort to gain an even greater insight into the criminal system, Jones joined the Williamson County Attorney Office, where he worked as a criminal prosecutor for two years.
