Originally from Cache Valley, Matthew D. Hammond, M.D., FACS is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. After completing residency, Dr. Hammond was selected Chief of Ophthalmology at Bayne- Jones Army Community Hospital, where he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal and the Humanitarian award for his efforts during Hurricane Katrina. He enjoys skiing, tennis, and traveling with his wife, Jennifer, and four sons.
