Sophie C. Pouteau is honored to be the owner of the first Tutor Doctor franchise in the City of San Francisco. After a successful career in both the technology industry and education, she decided to refocus her energy in an area where she can make a more direct impact on improving the lives of the families in her community. Her love of children and passion for learning motivated her to join to the National US Tutor Doctor Franchisee team in 2010. Pouteau holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Marketing and Management from Baruch College in New York, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership, and a Master's in Business Administration, both from Saint Mary's College of California. She is currently volunteering her time as Director of Business Development for a non-profit organization working to break down the economic and social barriers to education in South Africa.
