Fortunately for you, there are ways to combat this issue, just by simply cleaning your air duct system. Les Clow, owner of North Texas Duct Cleaning, details three major reasons to clean your duct system now to ensure your system is running smoothly and your home does too. Clow and his team are duct cleaning Plano, Texas from end to end and know the indicators of a home that needs a cleaning!
Allergies: Itchy Nose In the Morning, Watery Eyes at Night
First things first: do you ever wake up with a stuffy nose in the morning? Watery eyes? Sure, it could be a seasonal thing, but if this is a frequent issue you face, it may be your air duct. Plano duct cleaning company North Texas Duct Cleaning tackles this problem for residents all the time and Clow says the solution may be in a cleaning. “If you’re sleeping in the same spot breathing the same air for 8 hours, you’re definitely affected by your air duct system. If it’s not clean, you’re possibly breathing in allergens, dust, spores and more. So we clean everything! We clean the duct work, the the vent covers, the furnace that pushes the cold air around and all the internal components of the system.” Once your system is cleaned, it’s cleaned. Clow equates a cleaning to mopping your kitchen floor: “If it’s dirty and you mop it, it’s clean. The only thing you have to worry about is bringing in new pollutants or new contaminants inside.”
Newborn Babies and the Air They Breathe
Baby on the way? Then it’s time for a duct cleaning Plano, Texas folk! Bringing a newborn home is a full time job, with creating a nursery, the baby-proofing and making sure the air quality is safe for you and your small children. “Here’s the thing: homes have an awful indoor air quality environment. We have so many chemicals in our home, starting with the paint on the walls, the fibers in the carpet, household chemicals and dust mites - basically everything the air touches and then circulates through your system,” says Clow. “New moms want to ensure that their babies are safe, and can do that by simply having your air duct cleaned.” Clow assures that it only takes one cleaning to eliminate those allergens and other contaminants in the air and for your newborn to be breathing crisp, clean air.
