About Jay Deratany

Jay Paul Deratany is an attorney who specializes in personal injury and medical malpractice in Chicago, Illinois. He formed his own practice in 1992, just four years after graduating from DePaul Law School. These days, Deratany is focused on helping people combat injustice and subjugation by big business. He is a past board member of the Perspectives Charter School and a current member of the Chicago House Board. A member of the Florida Bar, Deratany is also licensed with the Northern Illinois District of the Illinois Supreme Court, the United States District Court, the Seventh Circuit United States Court of Appeals, and the Trial Bar of the United States District Court.
