Carol and David Bryant are owners of Eden Crest Properties, LLC, based in the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg areas of eastern Tennessee. Here they discuss why the area is full of things to see and do, including backpacking on llamas, which makes it an ideal spot to plan your next vacation.
There is plenty of outdoor activity for people to take advantage of in the area around Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, not to mention the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. People who stay with us could be interested in anything from fly fishing to golfing, from horseback riding to backpacking up into the mountains on llamas.
A Resort for All Seasons
We can accommodate people for any season of the year, and none of our seasons are harsh; they all tend to be mild. We get about three or four snowfalls a year, from a couple of inches to four or five inches and they usually melt the next day.
And of course there is a lot of wildlife in the area, including a lot of bear activity in this area. But don’t worry: They are actually vegetarian. They are Black Bears and don’t normally attack humans unless they are starving to death!
Here are just a few of the outdoor activities we offer:

- Lake
- River Mountain Trout
Boat Rental
- Pontoons
- Wave runners
Wheels
- Bicycles
- ATVs
Guided Float Trips
- Whitewater rafting
