Construction sites are well-known for being chaotic, and when a project is over, there tends to be a lot of clean-up to be done. Often, nobody wants to claim responsibility for the clean-up work, however, and problems arise over who should be taking on the work. At HEITS Building Services, nothing could be further from that. It offers a comprehensive line of services for real estate professionals, builders, project managers and contractors.
HEITS is locally owners and operated, so it offers programs suited to every individual business needs, according to Ralph Rodriguez, president of HEITS in Atlanta. Some of the basic services the company offers its many construction clients are:
Rough Clean. This is a great way to finish things off as soon as the contractors have finished their job. This type of clean includes removing all trash, dirt, and debris from the exterior of the unit, then disposing of it as directed by the contractor’s superintendent. All tubs, toilets, lavatories, kitchen sinks and appliances will be cleaned, removing all temporary protection as well as labels that are not required. All kitchen cabinets and countertops, vanity cabinets, and countertops will be cleaned. Windows and sliding glass door frames, sills, and tracks will be handled as well. Attention will be paid to utility closets, furnace closets, storage areas, and garages. All windows and sliding glass doors will be washed inside and out and scraped, with special attention paid to avoid scratching frames or glass.
Final Clean. HEITS Final Clean services can make a property ready to show. Trash, dirt and debris is removed and disposed of. All cabinets and items of that nature are cleaned inside and out, with stained woodwork and stainless steel sinks polished. All windows and sliding glass doors are cleaned, shined and polished inside and out, as are interior doors. Plumbing fixtures and related trim will be brought to a sanitary condition and medicine cabinets, mirrors, and bath accessories will be cleaned. Packing materials are removed from appliances along with temporary labels, and operating and maintenance manuals placed in kitchen drawers or as directed. Kitchen cabinets, countertops, and vanity tops will be cleaned, along with all wood baseboards, casings, and sills. All floors will be swept and mopped, wood floors cleaned and shined, and exterior storage areas, garages, patios and stoops cleaned. Walls will be dusted or vacuumed as needed.
Touch-Up Clean. This service will ensure that property is ready to show at any given time. Each unit will be checked and cleaned, shined, dusted and vacuumed as required. All cabinets, vanities, stained woodwork and stainless steel sinks will be touched-up and re-shined using lemon oil or other polish (as approved by the contractor’s superintendent.) Follow-up trips will be carried out as necessary until units are sold.
Whether you are a real estate professional, builder, contractor or project manager, you no doubt have enough on your plate without having to worry about post-construction clean-up. HEITS Building Services can take away the worry for you so that you can focus on impressing potential buyers.
