Vacuum
One of the easiest ways to make a small room appear larger is to vacuum the carpet. Smooth, clean carpet can actually help add visual space to the room. Besides, there’s just something about dirty, clumpy carpet that makes a room look dingy and generally unappealing.
Eliminate clutter
A noticeable amount of bedroom clutter is usually a sign that the room lacks ample storage space, not to mention the fact that clutter is just plain unattractive. The messier the room, the smaller it is going to look. To minimize clutter, keep all nightstand, dresser, and desk tops as clear as possible. A desktop organizer with basic school supplies on top of the desk is okay; a four-foot high stack of school books is not. For additional storage space, consider purchasing some plastic bins and storing items under the bed where they’ll be out of sight yet easily accessible. Closet organizers are another great way to maximize limited space. The neater a room looks, the larger it will naturally begin to appear.
Small bedrooms can certainly pose some difficulties, but with the proper strategy and a bit of creativity, you can turn a tiny, cramped bedroom into a decent-sized living space.

I personally believe that picking out great TV Stands can change the dynamic of a room. One that can fit a lot in it will save the eye from clutter. Another space savor is Wall Mounted Furniture which will allow your tv to take up no space at all. I personally prefer BDI TV Stands.
