After serving 27 years in the United States Air Force, Fred Wagner retired in September 2000. After a two weeks of retirement, he started working as the general manager of Poolman 2000 Inc. In April 2004, Wagner was promoted to company president. Wagner and his team have built Poolman to a company which services over 5,500 pools per week. Since Wagner first started at Poolman, the company has opened a commercial pool service division as well as a remodeling division.
