Carol and David Bryant are owners of Eden Crest Properties, LLC, based in the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg areas of eastern Tennessee. Here they discuss why this spot can be the perfect place to hold a wedding or have your honeymoon.
The area of Pigeon Forge and Gatlingburg here in Tennessee is famous for its wedding chapels, and we have lots of wedding packages available here at Eden Crest Vacation Rentals. A lot of our guests want to get married in our cabins, so we even have a minister who comes directly to their cabin and marries them there.
We can customize packages, depending on what our customers want. If they don’t want to get married in the cabin we use a wedding chapel, and we provide a host of services to make everything happen for the newly married couple. We can include flowers, we can include catering, and we have a photographer who will also take the wedding pictures on-site to preserve memories for years to come.
We also can provide accommodation for the entire wedding party and all their guests, up to as many as 300 people. If they want to invite more than that, we work with local hotels in the area to provide rooms for everyone.
Bedside Jacuzzi
We have a lot of services available to honeymooners who come here as well. Our one-bedroom cabins are perfect for honeymoons. There is a bedside Jacuzzi, a fireplace in the bedroom, and a Jacuzzi bathtub as well. Our cabins are romantic because they are secluded up in the mountains, which is a really nice setting for newlyweds to enjoy their honeymoon.
Most honeymooners stay with us typically for about a week, although it can vary. We have a two-night minimum, and most of the time honeymooners stay anywhere from three to four days to a week.
Secluded or Sociable
We even offer soothing couples massages, where a fully qualified massage therapist comes directly on-site to the cabin to provide one-hour his and hers massages. This special treatment fits perfectly into your special day of romance to make a honeymoon or wedding extra special.
People who stay with us can be as sociable as they want. We have the ability to prepare food baskets, which means that our newlyweds can order a breakfast or dinner basket which will be delivered to their cabin, so they can enjoy a delicious meal in private. If they don’t want to take advantage of that, lots of restaurants are in the area.
Off-site Activities
There are a lot of other activities as well for people to enjoy on their honeymoon. There is so much to choose, with activities such as miniature golfing, horseback riding, go karting, visiting the racetracks and hiking in the mountains. Shopping is also huge in this area and we have so many outlet malls that this area has become famous for outlet shopping.
We also have lots of evening shows, such as the Cirque de Chine, which is an acrobatic Chinese show. There are local artists who do performances that involve lots of singing and dancing, and a big selection of holiday-themed events such as Christmas shows.
Newlyweds will love renting a cabin with us, as there really is something for everyone. Whether you want a fun-filled honeymoon filled with shopping and shows or a romantic one with meals delivered to your cabin and quiet hikes in the mountains, you’ll be happy taking advantage of one of our vacation rental packages.
