Here at CertaPro Painters, we try to do everything we can to make your house-painting experience a positive one. Five-Step Process

All CertaPro franchises have a special five-point plan which we scrupulously follow to ensure you get the best level of service possible. It covers everything from preparation to clean-up, and is a foolproof way for our customers to get only the best from us. It entails:

  1. Set-Up. We do everything we can to protect not only your furniture and carpets, but also your personal possessions. We do most of the moving ourselves, but we ask you for help when it comes to moving and replacing valuable objects. We strive to make sure everything is covered, and we provide drop cloths to protect all types of flooring. We use new plastic sheeting to cover your objects and furniture, which we carefully place in the center of the room that is being painted.
  2. Preparation. During our initial consultation, we conduct a walk-around where we visit every room of the house that is to be painted with the homeowner, talking about what needs to be done. If holes and ceiling cracks need to be filled, we discuss it with you, then do it. Same for surfaces which might need to be scruff-sanded and stains that need to be sealed. Everything is discussed in advance and agreed upon, so you know exactly what is included in our preparation.
  3. Painting. We apply only premium quality paint to a premier finish, and this happens only after we have discussed color in detail with you and even provided you with complimentary color samples, if required. In fact, we will even come out and try them out for you. Our goal is for you to be as happy with the end product as possible. We also prime repaired areas.
  4. Cleaning. Nobody wants a great paint job on the walls, and dirty paint sloshes everywhere else. That’s why we work hard to make things even better than before we came. We put all the furniture and accessories back where they were, we get rid of all our materials, and we dust and vacuum. Your place might even look a lot tidier than before we arrived!
  5. Inspection. When the project is done, it’s time for you as the homeowner to provide us with feedback. So we offer an inspection with the homeowner after we have completed one on our own, and give you a card to register your feedback with us.

Eventually he operated a College ProPainters outlet, a sister company of Certa Pro. Upon graduating from Clarkson University in upstate New York, he moved to Austin to work for The Westinghouse Motor Company in Round Rock. While at Westinghouse, he obtained his M.B.A from St. Edwards University and gained the position of strategic alliance manager.
