Regional Sales Manager Chicago

Yodle, a leading provider local search advertising and online lead generation services to small businesses continues to grow and we are actively looking to hire a Regional Sales Manager. Based out of our Chicago office, this is a unique opportunity to manage and grow sales teams in our Chicago offices that are responsible for B2B sales of on-line advertising solutions for our cutting edge local search marketing advertising solutions.

Overview:
In this highly critical role, you will report to our Director Of Sales and are responsible to manage and grow our Chicago team of Field Sales Reps sales teams for B2B sales of on-line advertising solutions for our cutting edge local search marketing advertising solutions.

Responsibilities:

Core responsibilities:
• Work with senior management to establish sales objectives by accurately forecasting monthly sales projections for new business.
• Actively plans to achieve results at the region, territory and account levels.
• Achieves sales results/goals by planning, counseling, coaching sales reps, monitoring, and appraising job results. 
• Maintains adequate pipeline to accurately and consistently forecast business objectives in the sales region.
• Maintains sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training, coaching, developing and exiting sales reps.
• Builds a customer centric orientation and drives acquisition of high quality customers that consistently renew.
• Develops territory and account strategies to support sales teams and attain quota in territory.
• Focuses the sales effort around identifying and fulfilling customers’ current and future needs utilizing solution selling models.
• Provides strong leadership to drive and overachieve key expectations.
• Maintains company values and demands the highest standards of conduct from self and others.
• Understands the market, the customer and the competition.

Qualifications:
• Seven years successful sales experience with a consistent proven track record of overachievement quota expectations in B2B environment.
• Three years successful B2B sales management experience preferred in an ad sales or technology driven environment.
• Superior people management skills including coaching, resolving conflict, and developing sales leaders, promoting teamwork, and performance
management.
• Experience with sales automation software, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• BA/BS required, Masters preferred.
