Rules for Using Exclamation Points

Don’t use exclamation points unless you absolutely have to. If you’re going to use exclamation points, be sure the verbiage at hand warrants them. It may sometimes be appropriate to use exclamation points to announce a special promotion or truly big news, but in most instances, it’s far better to avoid them.
