Yodle, a leading provider of local search advertising and online lead generation services to small and medium businesses is seeking a smart, energetic HTML/CSS website coder to join our corporate marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this individual will create and maintain stylish HTML/CSS designs for various marketing initiatives. This person would also be responsible for regular maintenance and updates to yodle.com corporate web site. In this critical position, you are responsible for collaborating with the marketing team to convert their business requirements and specifications into a completed web site/landing page/portal – front end design and code. These web designs are critical to the success of Yodle’s mission to educate and sign up local businesses for our online advertising service.

To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to pay attention to detail, have a great eye for design and most importantly conversion. You will need to keep the technical execution of the site "back of mind" as you translate the marketing managers vision. You will need to have an intuitive sense of color, navigation and space. You will need to be able to quickly change a website based on the marketing managers specifications, design mockups, make coding edits, and work within a team to develop and maintain great websites.

Responsibilities
• HTML & CSS (Ability to clean hand code a must!!)
• Familiarity with other languages such as PHP, ASP, JavaScript a plus
• Up to date with industry best web design and coding practices
• 2+ years experience in web development and graphic design
• A keen eye for design
• Familiar with email marketing and best practices
• An eye for typography
• Proficient with the entire Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, Indesign, Flash, Dreamweaver)
• Knowledge of user-interface best-practices for web design
• Experience applying direct response and web site conversion best practices to designs
• Experience applying SEO best practices a plus
• Familiar with web metrics such as CTR, Conversion, CPC, CPA, a plus
• Experience in landing page optimization, design for direct response, A/B and multivariable testing a plus
• Organized and detailed oriented
• Understanding of content management systems (experience with ExpressionEngine a plus)
• Experience in an agency or creative environment is a plus
• BA/BS in interaction design, graphic design, information design or art
