We are growing at 150% year over year and have presence across the United States. We provide search-engine advertising and online lead generation services to small businesses. Yodle has developed an integrated approach to signing up and serving local businesses that are transitioning their marketing budgets online. We provide local businesses with a simple way to cost-effectively acquire more customers by advertising on the major search engines including: Google, Yahoo, AOL, Ask and MSN plus a wide distribution network of local sites and directories.

Reporting to the SVP of Sales and Marketing, Yodle is seeking a Director of Training to drive improved productivity and subject matter expertise of the organizations direct and channel sales representatives. In this highly strategic role, the Director of Training is responsible for the effective development, coordination and presentation of training and education programs at Yodle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as sales tactics, new and existing products, new/changing processes, etc.
• Confer with management, supervisors and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, products, business initiatives and technologies
• Develop, write and coordinate training material working with specialists for specific details
• Create certification programs and test trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training
• Develop strong relationship with all departments to create course materials and receive feedback
• React to new developments and help lead the way forward to include in training targeted to both new and existing employees
• Keep up to date with new developments in training and instructional methodologies including technology enhancements and attends periodic seminars, forums, and meetings

Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years experience developing and presenting a training curriculum
• Must have sales background of 2-5 years
• Expert at creating and delivering presentations to large groups
• Has presence and is an expert public speaker that can deliver and simplify complex topics confidently
• Solid interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task; proficient at task prioritization and balancing several competing interests and goals simultaneously
• Must be innovative, creative, and motivated
• Attention to detail and confidentiality is crucial
• Experience in online advertising knowledge of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Advertising industry and/or online advertising experience a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent highly desired
• Must be willing to travel at least 1 week per month
