My name is Tim Wilson. I originate residential mortgages for Winter Wood Mortgage Group. The biggest marketing challenge was to find people that we did not have a history with. We have historically done all types of marketing. The most central form of marketing for mortgage originators is referral sources, getting leads from realtors, financial planners. That has always been a core method of marketing. If we had to rely on personal referral relationships as our only source of finding perspective borrowers, that's an inferior method.
Our experience with Yodle has been a very positive one and it seems to have a development and growth. I treat their ROIs about 500 to 700 percent our ROI. That doesn't even address longer terms relationships that we developed through people who have contacted us though Yodle.
There are a couple features of the Yodle process that I'm very fond of that, in my style, works very well for me. It's the ability to provide feedback about the leads and provide direction about the creation of the filters that Yodle uses on my traffic so that I get better and better traffic. That's the main thing that I liked.
My advice about the use of Yodle is that if you, as a small business person or a small company, are interested in exploring, developing, and getting a process together to get business from the web, I don't think you can do much better than Yodle. Yodle has been very effective for us. We have a good relationship with them. We're very pleased with the results. We're getting financial results that we wanted. We think that it will continue to grow our business.
