Director of Business Development

Yodle is looking for senior business development professional to help build and maintain our relationships with media, product and sales partner channels. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and  understands how digital media, mobile, social and online advertising generate ROI.  He/She is capable of switching gears between negotiations, operations, complex technological concepts, business marketing, and today’s socially connected world. Our Director is a strong communicator -  working cross functionally with all departments and is data driven -  likes working with numbers and makes decisions based on data and customer satisfaction.
 

Responsibilities

  • Negotiations of complex contracts with large media companies, publishers, technology and product companies. Focusing on publishers with significant consumer traction and locally driven media inventory.
  • Create innovative deal terms that are easy to test, deploy and roll out which benefit the entire value chain - Partner, Yodle, and most importantly, Yodle’s small business customers.
  • Work with senior executives pre and post agreement to further develop the Strategic Relationships
  • Work with internal stakeholders from product, sales and marketing teams to ensure partnership is executed
  • Engage with Yodle’s product and consumer marketing group on latest trends and market feedback that can help Yodle’s small business customer.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Internet business or channel development, strategic partnerships, or marketing working with senior executives and large fortune 500 companies
  • History of demonstrated success building or executing large revenue driving partnerships
  • Online experience – preferably in online marketing, local small business, mobile, social media
  • Willingness to work on a wide range of tasks, from high strategy to nuts and bolts operations and in matrix organization
  • Experience in search engine marketing, online advertising or knowledge about local small business industry is a plus.
  • BA/BS degree; preferred in economics or engineering or a MBA a plus
