Yodle is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide top notch support in our Austin office. The ideal candidate will be customer focused with a can do attitude, drives for results and has the ability to learn on the fly.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site troubleshooting, training and tech support at the desktop level
- Provide telephone/remote tech support to end users
- Perform software installs and updates
- Maintain accurate client network documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation
- Set up PCs, printers, peripherals and networking equipment
- Manage Computers, users and policy in Active Directory
- Assist in administration of network equipment, servers
- Willingness to work off-hours as necessary for time-critical projects
Qualifications
- Desire to provide excellent and efficient service
- Solid troubleshooting skills
- Strong skills in use of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Solid skills in other common business applications
- Understanding of network configuration at the desktop level
- Good communication skills for end-user training and tutorial
- Solid understanding of PC and laptop hardware, desktop software, and Windows operating systems
- Some knowledge of/desire to learn Unix/Linux/BSD
- A+ and/or Network+ certifications a plus
