Technical Support Specialist

Yodle is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide top notch support in our Austin office.   The ideal candidate will be customer focused with a can do attitude, drives for results and has the ability to learn on the fly.
 

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site troubleshooting, training and tech support at the desktop level
  • Provide telephone/remote tech support to end users
  • Perform software installs and updates
  • Maintain accurate client network documentation
  • Maintain accurate inventory documentation
  • Set up PCs, printers, peripherals and networking equipment
  • Manage Computers, users and policy in Active Directory
  • Assist in administration of network equipment, servers
  • Willingness to work off-hours as necessary for time-critical projects

Qualifications

  • Desire to provide excellent and efficient service
  • Solid troubleshooting skills
  • Strong skills in use of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Solid skills in other common business applications
  • Understanding of network configuration at the desktop level
  • Good communication skills for end-user training and tutorial
  • Solid understanding of PC and laptop hardware, desktop software, and Windows operating systems
  • Some knowledge of/desire to learn Unix/Linux/BSD
  • A+ and/or Network+ certifications a plus
