Yodle sees 700% year-over-year revenue growth

Company adds 100 employees since April ‘07


New York, NY (May 26th 2008) – Yodle Inc., a leader in local online advertising and lead generation for local businesses, and recent finalist in the 2008 American Business Awards for Best Customer Service Organization, announced four new hires this week. Tom Hubbard from Amazon Inc., Brian Battjer from MeetUp.com, Todd Herrold from Register.com, and Brook Shepard from SendTraffic.com all join Yodle to help local businesses across the country connect with new customers through the web.

Dr. Tom Hubbard joins Yodle as Director of Optimization where he will lead R&D; efforts to further advance Yodle’s industry leading advertising optimization technology and bidding algorithm with the goal of driving more and better qualified business leads to Yodle’s customers. At Amazon.com, Tom managed the development and optimization of their third party display advertising platform. Prior to Amazon, Hubbard had served as Director of Optimization at both ReachLocal and Advertising.com. Hubbard holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Virginia, a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, and is a Commander in the Naval Reserve.

Todd Herrold joins as the General Manager of the Yodle Network, previously working as the Director of Product Management at Register.com. Todd has also held senior management positions at AT&T; and Time Warner. At Yodle, Todd will head up the company’s distribution strategy to drive the most cost-effective and qualified business leads to Yodle’s small business clients.

Brian Battjer joins Yodle as the Director of Product Management, heading up the product development team as well as guiding product strategy for Yodle. Over the course of his career, Brian has worked with industry players MeetUp.com, AdBrite, Community Connect, Inc. and Spring Street Networks.

Brook Shepard joins Yodle as the Director of Search Marketing. He will be helping to build the company’s Performance Optimization Team: identifying new search traffic sources for Yodle customers and continuing to build on Yodle’s Search Marketing Best Practices. Brook worked previously at SendTraffic.com, a large New York-based SEM agency.
