Yodle, an online advertising firm, is planning to hire 80 more people in Boston over the next year as it expands nationally.
Yodle, which has 20 employees at its 179 Lincoln St. offices, will be adding account representatives, client service managers, marketing specialists and others.
A spokeswoman for the New York firm said the company will hold a job fair July 23 at its Boston office.
Yodle has big plans. The firm recently announced it was adding about 80 workers in Scottsdale, Ariz., and is eyeing expansion in Charlotte, N.C.
The goal is to bring the company up to about 500 workers.
The hiring may take six to 12 months, the company said.
Yodle also has offices in Philadelphia and New York.
The hiring couldn’t come soon enough. The Bay State’s jobless rate stands at 9.2 percent, a bit lower than the national average of 9.5 percent.
