Yodle is searching for a QA Engineer who can truly take ownership of product quality – someone who takes pride in shipping a quality product that enables our employees and clients to be successful. The right candidate will be curious, a strong problem solver, highly organized and detail-oriented, and have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams, in an agile environment, to develop a comprehensive set of tests for our web-based application
• Assist product and engineering teams to define requirements
• Run manual test scripts and maintain automated testing scripts
• Analyze failed tests and manage defects using the bug reporting tool
• Perform extensive functional, integration, security and UI testing
• Collaborate with engineering to validate bugs and get them fixed

Qualifications:
• Self starter with a "can-do" attitude
• Strong knowledge of automated testing tools and techniques
• 3 or more years experience testing database driven web applications
• 3 or more years experience writing automated tests for web applications
• 1 or more years of experience with Selenium Test Framework
• Solid experience writing test cases and test plans
• Programming/scripting experience in any programming language – Java preferred
• SQL database skills (writing queries, interpreting results)
• Basic knowledge of Linux
• Experience in one of the follow areas a plus:
  • Sponsored search (i.e. Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing and Microsoft adCenter)
  • Search Engine Optimization
  • Performance Testing
  • Build / Release Management Tools (Ant, Maven, Ivy)
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related science field
