Yodle is seeking a talented and versatile marketing professional to join our world class marketing team in our New York Office as Senior Marketing Manager. This individual will be equal parts creative thinker and analytically driven business person who will lead our marketing department’s efforts to identify, execute, and scale lead generation channels that target small businesses.
 
The ideal candidate for this highly strategic role will be an execution-oriented marketer with strong business acumen, experience effectively managing direct reports, and a proven track record of leadership.
 
Responsibilities
• Aggressively explore, test, and scale new online and offline marketing channels to generate leads of small businesses interested in online marketing
• Manage portfolio of existing lead generation channels including budgeting, logistical execution, campaign tracking, and post campaign analysis
• Develop creative, messaging, and offer tests to optimize marketing efforts
• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitors, and marketing best practices
• Develop and present quarterly and annual plans to senior management
• Work with sales department to elicit feedback used to optimize lead generation channels
• Directly manage 1-2 reports
 
 
Qualifications
• 4+ years of marketing experience, with at least a portion of that experience being direct response oriented
• 2+ years of experience managing direct reports
• Working knowledge of both online and offline marketing channels including direct mail, SEM, online display, and SEO
• Strong quantitative thinker with the ability to create complex models to support business cases
• Entrepreneurial, take-charge attitude
• Ability to work with limited direction to satisfy high level business objectives
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience marketing to small business is preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree required
