Overview
Yodle is seeking a highly motivated, high energy Area Sales Manager to help drive new business revenue generation from our Scottsdale office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success selling and managing a growing regional internet advertising sales team, selling to small and medium sized businesses as well as a track record of exceeding quota in a business-to-business environment.

Responsibilities
• Accurately forecast monthly sales projections for new business
• Achieve sales results/goals by training, motivating and coaching team of 10-12 sales reps
• Recruit and maintain high energy/high caliber sales staff
• Develop territory and account strategies to attain and surpass quota consistently
• Must lead by example. Sales Managers will partner with sales reps daily to close business. While this is not a “selling manager” position, we expect our managers to be willing and able to work accounts alongside their team.
• Focus the sales effort around identifying and fulfilling customers’ current and future needs utilizing solution selling models
• Build a customer centric orientation and drive acquisition of high quality customers that we can retain
• Encourage open communication and take responsibility and action for your team and for Yodle. Seek to fully understand information from many points of view; create an engaged team
• Motivate others to achieve beyond expectations and provides strong leadership to drive and exceed key expectations
• Maintains company values and demands the highest standards of conduct from self and others
• Understand the market, the customer and the competition
Ideal Candidates Will Possess:
• 5+ years successful experience in sales with a consistent proven track record of exceeding quota expectations in a business-business environment
• 2 to 5 years of successful business to business sales management experience required
• Outstanding communication skills and presence
• Maturity to work within a start-up organization in a regional office
• Successfully manages people to achieve performance goals; excellent people management skills including resolving conflict, coaching and developing others, promoting teamwork, and performance management
• Experience with sales automation software, excel, word and outlook
• BA/BS required.
