Description
The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for the daily support of the sales function to minimize the administrative work of sales representatives and managers. Responsibilities include analyzing and reporting sales data, and managing the operational logistics of sales meetings and activities. Works closely with sales and other functional leaders to develop and maintain the operational infrastructure supporting goal setting, training and on-boarding, troubleshooting issues and sales requests, and sales-related information systems and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reporting to leadership.
- Provide information and analysis essential for sales planning and channel strategy.
- Develops and maintains detailed databases and spreadsheets in order to track and measure key metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and Powerpoint, and a CRM solution, preferably salesforce.com
- Ability to analyze, summarize, and communicate results derived from large data sets
- Attention to details and specifics of internal client needs
- 2-4 years of sales operations or support experience
- Ability to organize and prioritize, maintain attention to detail, and work under critical timeframes
Desired Qualifications
- College degree
- Experience with the development and/or management of sales and knowledge management tools.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing sales reporting systems, conducting analysis, and presenting to management
