Overview:
As Director of Product Marketing at Yodle, you will be responsible for developing positioning and supporting the launch of a suite of online marketing products and services geared towards helping local businesses acquire and retain customers without them having to invest significant time and money to do so.
The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and a passion for marketing. As a Director, you will own product marketing, work cross-functionally and collaborate with a team of Product Managers, Marketers and Sales Managers in their effort to establish business cases and best practices.
Responsibilities:
• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market and scales them over time.
• Work closely with our 150+ person sales team to identify common sales objections and product positioning gaps.
• Communicate the value proposition of our products to our sales team and develop the tools that support the selling process including: sales presentations, product collateral, training materials, thought leadership materials, etc.
• Support product team in building segmentation strategy.
• Develop customer marketing programs for cross sell, loyalty and ongoing product education opportunities.
• Plan the launch of all product releases and manage the cross-functional implementation.
• Develop marketing positioning to support direct response initiatives and promotional offers.
• Directly manage 1-2 direct reports.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Internet/Software product marketing experience
• 2+ years of experience managing direct reports
• Proficient with developing sales enablement tools
• Analytical and creative mind
• Strong track-record in developing successful marketing plans
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work on multiple projects with varying deadlines
• Management experience preferred but not required
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational communication skills
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint
• Bachelor’s in business or marketing
