The Web Development Manager will report to the Director of Web Development and will be responsible for managing a team of web designers/developers whose primary responsibility will be to create/modify and manage client’s websites to ensure that they are completed to the specifications of internal and external customers while meeting delivery deadlines. This team will also be responsible for daily updates to client’s websites as well as general website troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
• Managing, mentoring and growing a team of web developers/designers to ensure they understand all aspects of web design/production and general website knowledge
• Ensuring delivery of web products and advertising campaigns to internal and external customers are on time and of the highest quality and client satisfaction
• Work with other internal Yodle teams to ensure that best practices are fully understood and implemented into all of our products and processes to ensure client success and satisfaction
• Coordinate the delivery and communicate the status of hundreds of open projects and campaigns at any time to internal and external customers
• Provide internal and external teams with daily feedback regarding output and quality. Ensuring a strict QA process on all projects is a MUST
• Keep up to date on industry best practices for web design, coding, SEO/PPC and other web marketing principals and technologies to train and educate others on these practices

Qualifications:
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in a business, marketing, technical field or web related field
• 4+ years experience managing a small web development/production team that is high volume focused and works primarily with small to mid-sized businesses
• Experience managing an outsource firm/vendor with daily communication
• Superior knowledge and understanding of HTML, CSS, ActionScript 2.0 and 3.0, JavaScript, Adobe Suite, PHP, ASP, Client Side and Serve Side Scripts, Databases, and CRM/CMS Systems. These items will be trained to other team members.
• Strong project management background and ability to juggle dozens of open projects at any given time while coordinating their delivery and communicating their status to internal and external customers
• Superior knowledge of web analytic and research tools such as Google Analytics, Word Tracker, Google Insights, Clicktracks, Omniture
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize the delivery of multiple projects on tight deadlines while communicating their status to internal and external customers.
• Display a methodical approach to business and development including good documentation skills
• Hire, train, manage, and provide feedback to a small team of web developers/designers that are fanatical about clients success
• Create a positive and energetic work environment for others
• Experience in conversion based web design and landing page optimization
• Experience with SEO for local search is a BIG plus
