Product Manager, Local Search – New York, NY

A position where you will have an opportunity to leverage your Product Management expertise to build a leading local business directory website?
In this highly visible role, you will be spearheading the development of the Yodle Local Search Website. You will work with senior leadership to develop the product strategy and roadmap, define business requirements, features and functionality, set timelines and lead a cross-functional team through development and implementation.
Additionally, you will work with the online marketing and content teams to drive profitability by defining and implementing search engine optimization strategies and tactics, driving high-quality traffic to the site, optimizing user experience, maximizing advertising revenue, and generating sales leads for our small to medium-sized business advertisers.
Responsibilities Work with senior leadership to define product strategy, roadmap and milestones
Define business requirements, product features and functionality
Own design, development and implementation of frontend and backend information architecture, tracking and reporting systems, and user interface
Lead cross-functional team in overall project management, release planning and agile product development process
Assess website traffic patterns, user behavior to inform web design and maximize conversion rates (CTR, CVR, CPL, etc.)
Track and assess search engine indexing and rankings, define search engine optimization (SEO) strategy and plan, including on-page and off-page strategies and tactics
Skills Required
2-4 years experience with online product management/development roles
Significant experience with usability and user interface design
Familiarity with white-hat Search Engine Optimization strategies and tactics
Knowledge of major web programming and database technologies
Excellent data analysis skills.
Excellent writing and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and communicate results to management.
Ability to work on multiple projects with varying deadlines.
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Bachelor’s degree required
Local business directory and/or search-based consumer website experience a plus.
