Overview
Yodle, a leading provider of local online advertising and online lead generation services to small businesses continues to grow and we are actively looking to hire a Public Relations Manager. Based out of our fast growing Manhattan office, this is a unique opportunity to manage the communication and brand strategy for the fastest growing company in the local online advertising industry.

Overview
In this highly critical role, our ideal candidate is a skilled and motivated public relations professional with 5+ years of experience in a media or internet related industry.

Responsibilities

• Managing all corporate communication and media relations for Yodle
• Creating brand awareness and viral PR campaigns
• Writing press releases, pitch letters, media strategies, key messages, media recap reports, and interview briefing sheets
• Keep abreast of industry and competitive news and trends
• Work closely with marketing/sales/product to develop creative and integrated programs to support feature and product launches
• Develop and manage relationships with key press and influencers
• Establish processes to generate steady volume of press releases and promote within the appropriate channels

Skills Required

• 5+ years experience in a PR role at an agency or client. Media and/or Internet industry a plus.
• Existing contacts and relationships within the Print, Broadcast and Online community
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with senior management
• Experience with reputation and brand management
• Background of launching web/viral PR initiatives
• Working knowledge of social media outlets for use in brand building campaigns
