Yodle.com, a Bessemer and Draper Fischer Jervetson venture funded company, is in the midst of a major national rollout. We are growing at 400% year over year and have a presence in 18 major cities in the United States. We provide search-engine advertising and online lead generation services to small businesses. Yodle has developed an integrated approach to signing up and serving local businesses that are transitioning their marketing budgets online. We provide local businesses with a simple way to cost-effectively acquire more customers by advertising on the major search engines including: Google, Yahoo, AOL, Ask and MSN.

Reporting to the VP of Sales, Yodle is seeking a Director of Business Development to help identify, build relationships and drive success with large strategic partners. The goal of the position is to build a network of enterprise partners that will help Yodle build its customer base and continued rapid growth.

Responsibilities
  • 7+ years experience in a business development/partnership position. Technology, Internet, or Media industry preferred.
  • C-Level negotiation and relationship building experience
  • Past success with building partner relationships and managing co-marketing programs
  • Comfortable with prospecting and networking to build pipeline of potential partners
  • Experience with presenting and negotiating with sr. executives
  • Reporting and ROI measurement on a partner and marketing program level
  • Contribute leadership through your experience and work ethic
  • Thrives in a team environment and collaborates well with others
  • Well organized, independent, resourceful and diligent in maintaining CRM data
