Overview

• Do you have a strong product vision, and want to build an integrated, world-class application to enable local merchants to compete more effectively online?

If this sounds like you, we’re hiring a Director, Product Management who will drive product development and own the product roadmap for our innovative web based local search advertising and online lead generation services. Based out of our Manhattan office, this is a unique opportunity for you to innovate and spearhead the evolution of our cutting edge local search marketing advertising products.

In this highly critical role, our ideal candidate is a highly motivated, visionary leader with a strong background leading product development teams of web based software solutions. In addition to leading a team of product managers and owning the product roadmap your core responsibilities include identifying requirements, developing business cases and defining the product vision for Yodle’s search marketing advertising products.

Responsibilities
1. Yodle Live Control Panel– A hosted application for merchants to view, manage and respond to leads.
2. adStation™ Media Buying Dashboard – advance and prioritize features for adStation ™ , Yodle’s flagship product. Used by both internal and external users, this product simplifies keyword and other forms of online media purchasing throughout Yodle’s distribution network. You’ll also be responsible for improving user interactions, and workflow to improve internal efficiency.
3. Yodle Distribution Network – Increase and optimize Yodle’s media distribution (Online & Offline) to improve campaign reach, targeting and relevancy. Work with Yodle’s product management team to develop automated processes to facilitate ad serving, monitoring, optimization and data-feeds.

Additional responsibilities include:
• Work with the senior management to develop and prioritize product roadmap and strategy.
• Conceive & develop product requirements for new Yodle products.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional team with direct/search marketers, interaction designers, and engineers to help productize and automate media buying and optimization tasks.

Qualifications:
• 10 – 15 years software product management experience with at least 5 yrs experience in a managerial or director level role.
• Proven ability to develop and lead product management and engineering teams that develop world class web based software services.
• Experience managing products through the development lifecycle.
• Solid experience writing business requirement and developing product roadmaps.
• Ability to be creative and think analytically as well as strategically.
• Must be able to multitask and balance business and technical issues.
• Ability to communicate and lead with cross functional teams, internal and external clients.
• Strong problem solving skills and business/analytical acumen.
• Experience in SEM/PPC industry, keyword buying, lead generation, match-type targeting and bidding techniques a plus.
• BA required; MBA a plus.
