Director Client Operations - Charlotte, NC

Overview
Yodle, a leading provider local search advertising and online lead generation services to small businesses continues to grow and we are actively looking to hire a highly motivated, visionary leader with a proven background managing and mentoring account management teams.

Reporting to the VP, Operations, Director Client Operations will be responsible for hiring & managing a large team of Search marketing experts and supporting a client base of 5000 customers. Your objective will be to execute on many client services projects and scale a team to 100 account managers in next 12-18 months.

Responsibilities
Core Responsbilities
  • Prolific Hiring and mentoring of a large team of account managers
  • Implement and manage performance metrics such as revenue maximization, customer retention, SLA enforcement
  • Execute on strategic and tactical projects to lay infrastructure to scale client operations
  • Develop a scalable operation thru constant process optimization and implementation of client services best practices and technology.
  • Manage, motivate and train the Client Services team which consists of Search Marketing specialists & Account Managers

Qualifications:
  • 10+ Years of client services (call center, customer support) experience, 5+ years as manager
  • Background in solving complex customer problems using phone based team of Account managers is required
  • 3-5 years project management experience implementing process improvement projects
  • Proven experience in hiring, people management and building a team.
  • Preferred search marketing or online advertising industry experience with at least 2 yrs experience in a managerial role.
  • Experience in SEM/PPC industry, keyword buying, lead generation, match-type targeting and bidding techniques is preferred.
  • Strong problem solving skills and business/analytical acumen.
  • Ability to be creative and think analytically as well as strategically.
  • BA required; business, engineering degree or MBA a plus.
