Yodle is looking for a Organic Associate who will be responsible for working alongside our Interactive Marketing Specialist and Web Development teams to help our clients enhance their online presence on major search engines such as Google, Yahoo! & Bing. Within this role you will be charged with executing upon a predetermined on-page and off-page Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy while ensuring that key milestones and initiatives are delivered on time with the highest level of quality.
Responsibilities
• Assist in client education of basic search engine marketing topics
• Create and enhance listings for Yodle’s clients on sites such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, Yelp & Superpages
• Create and enhance listings for Yodle’s clients on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients via phone and email to inform them of the status of their account as well as answer any questions they may have
• Review and edit web content to ensure quality and accuracy
• Apply established SEO best practices to Yodle built websites
• Communicate daily feedback, deadlines, goals and project statuses to your own team as well as other Yodle departments and senior leadership
• Hours from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday
Qualifications
• 0-2+ years of experience working in a fast-paced and independent environment
• Experience in an internet, marketing or advertising company preferred
• Ability to learn and adapt to new software technologies.
• Strong working knowledge of PC based internet and software applications
• Ability to communicate effectively via telephone by utilizing active listening and clearly speaking to internal and external customers
• Ability to communicate effectively via email transmission by utilizing proper grammar and punctuation skills
• Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with co-workers and peers
• Experience using Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with SEO, HTML/CSS experience a BIG plus
