Job Overview
Yodle, a leading provider of local search advertising and online lead generation services to small and medium businesses, is seeking a smart, energetic Content Writer to join our in-house team. To succeed in this role, you must be a strong writer, have excellent interpersonal skills, and possess the ability to produce quality content quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have an interest in online content writing and editing, and will have a background (educational or work-related) in English, marketing, or a similar field.
Responsibilities
• Interview business owners and write content for consumer education websites
• Edit content for grammatical consistency and ensure that content complies with SEO best practices
• Work on additional projects as needed
Qualifications
• Demonstrated ability to write content in a clear, concise, grammatically-correct fashion
• Strong editing skills and attention to detail
• Understanding of content management systems (experience with WordPress preferred)
• Knowledge of AP style a plus
• BA/BS, preferably in English, communications, marketing, or a related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Flexible attitude and willingness to multitask
