Job Overview
The Senior Vice President of Sales reports to CEO Court Cunningham and is a member of the company’s executive team. The SVP Sales will be a savvy on-line sales executive with experience selling local advertising or selling into small businesses and have a proven track record of scaling sales organizations and revenue numbers to new levels of success. The SVP Sales will possess strong analytical capabilities and be responsible for driving all sales efforts including: sales market rollout, pricing, compensation, hiring, training, and recruitment to achieve Yodle’s customer acquisition and revenue goals.
The role will require a business-oriented executive who recognizes changing market dynamics and can execute an effective sales and delivery strategy. It will also require an individual who can establish a results and performance-based culture while infusing an appropriate level of process and prioritization.
Qualifications
• At least 10 years of sales experience in comparable industries (online advertising or serving or small/ medium business), with 5+ years in a senior management position.
• Experience managing a 75+ person team.
• Experience with local advertising, online advertising or selling into small businesses.
• Experience selling ad tech to large corporate marketing departments.
• Proven track record of increasing revenue and sales productivity in most recent job.
• Experience selling in a high volume (1,000) deals/month, low order size ($15K/year/deal) environment.
• Demonstrated success in building a large national, geographically distributed sales team. Will need to grow team from 150 to 300 in 24 months while maintaining productivity and consistent revenue growth.
• Strong track record of building a world-class outside and inside sales team.
• Experience managing overall sales process, setting appropriate metrics for sales funnel management and establishing performance benchmarks.
