Responsibilities

The HR/Recruiting Intern will assist in many aspects of recruiting from resume screening and sourcing, posting jobs, scheduling interviews, attending career fairs, utilizing social media platforms to attract candidates, generating offer letters, reporting, etc. In addition to these responsibilities, this position will entail working on special HR projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors program (preferred) with relevant coursework in HR, management, marketing, public relations, communications, or similar
• Ability to exercise considerable discretion and independent judgment when working with confidential data
• Ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently; meeting deadlines, initiative and follow through
• Exceptional customer service focus, including attention to producing quality results
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, problem solver with a burning desire to contribute to the organization’s reputation and success.
• Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment.
• Ability to anticipate needs beyond general completion of assigned tasks
• Technically savvy, PC proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel
• Experience with HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems, a plus
