Payroll Specialist

Job Overview
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the quality administration of payroll and other HR processes for all Yodle employees. The position is focused on flawless execution of managing payroll and day to day employee transactions within the HRIS system, and other HR duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
• Process and audit semi-monthly, weekly, and off-cycle payrolls
• Review year-end W2’s for discrepancies
• Act as the backup for commission payrolls
• Manage time and attendance system, reviewing time sheets to ensure that they are properly completed and entered into payroll system
• Answer questions regarding pay, deductions, taxes, and time accrual
• Process garnishments and levies according to Federal and State law.
• Complete and submit employment verifications.
• Complete State Unemployment Insurance verifications.
• Partner with Finance on General Ledger/ Accounting reconciliation
• Track requests for Temporary Employees
• Liaise with HR Business Partner on Termination process including completion of termination letters & computation of final pay
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Experience with Workday payroll application is preferred
• Experience in Microsoft Office
• Minimum of 2 years of Payroll experience
• Solid customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment
• Conscientious worker with great attention to detail
