Job Overview
Yodle is looking for a web dev associate who will be responsible for performing quality assurance (QA) on each new client website as well as handle basic website maintenance and updates to our existing client base. This entry level role would work closely alongside our Web Development team to “learn the ropes” of all of the web development roles and responsibilities to continue to grow and take on more responsibilities within the team.
Responsibilities
• Performing quality assurance (QA) tasks for websites built by both Yodle and our clients to ensure websites are error-free and built with best coding practices
• Make basic changes/updates to websites through use of HTML/CSS/JavaScript code, as well as Adobe Suite applications – Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash
• Handle various web dev administrative tasks including website redirects, domain renewals and basic reporting
• Working directly with internal teams and clients to troubleshoot domain issues, apply domain name settings changes
• Work closely with other Yodle departments to ensure the clients marketing goals and objectives are being understood and met within established timelines and with the highest level of quality
Qualifications
• Must have strong attention to details to look for errors
• Ability to identify trends and create process documentation for common errors and issues
• Must have strong understanding of HTML/CSS
• Must have strong domain settings and domains management knowledge
• Undergraduate degree
• Ability to multitask and work on dozens and dozens of open tasks in a single day under tight deadlines
• Knowledge of online advertising including PPC, SEO and Display a BIG plus
• Knowledge of graphic design a plus
